About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Site Manager / Foreperson to lead and manage a variety of construction projects. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations
* Problem-solve and make quick, effective decisions on-site
* Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and the team
What We’re Looking For
* Trade-qualified carpenter with commercial construction experience
* 10+ years in the building industry, with proven leadership experience
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Commitment to Health & Safety and Quality
* Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
* Ability to give and take direction effectively within a team environment
* Willingness to help train apprentices and support their development
* Full NZ driver’s license
* Permanent work rights in New Zealand
This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive remuneration based on experience.

* Full NZ driver’s license
